Who we are
SCENTX Scent Marketing operates this website. If you have any question about this policy, or about information we hold, email hello@scentx.co.uk and a person will reply.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through a form on this site we collect the details you type into it — typically your name, business name, email address, telephone number and a description of your space. We collect nothing else from the form.
We use Umami for website analytics. Umami is privacy-focused: it sets no cookies, collects no personal data and does not track visitors across sites. It tells us which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from, in aggregate. It cannot identify you.
Why we collect it
Enquiry details are used for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to provide the service. Analytics data is used to understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve them.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Who processes it
Form submissions are delivered to our inbox through a third-party form service, and the site is hosted on Vercel. Both process data on our instructions only. Analytics is processed by Umami.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete your details we will do so.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Email us and we will action it without fuss. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
